Start small!

I made my first quilt last year, and decided to start with a small “lap quilt” that I turned into a wall hanging. It felt much more approachable and doable! Also, embrace the fact that it will not be perfect and mistakes make it more beautiful and hand-made looking. Reddit threads are your friend too. People are always there to help beginner quilters.
